Question:

Major in Environment?

hi im a finance major at GMU, ima junior and havnt really started Finance core classes, just the Gen Eds. and the business core such as Econ, Accounting and business calc.

I chose finance cause im spending thousands of $$ on a degree so i figured i get a degree that stands out and can fall back on when things dont work out.

Recently, im having doubts about my college career, i realized my true passion is sports(basketball, football) and the environment such as marine biology.

My question is, is there any one out there who works with WWF or Nat'l Geographic, or something similar that can give me some career advice?

  1. I'm a (mostly-) retired zoologist. Will I do? You might stick with finance and minor in one of the other fields, making you ideally suited for a job such as sports agent or an office of a conservation 501(c)(3) organization. In a pinch, you would have two fields to fall back on.
