Majorca??? I'm doing a project!?

Hi I am doing a project on Majorca

please could you tell me the problems that tourism creates in Majorca and some solutions to some of these.

Well, Mallorca is overrun by turists, which leads to a point where water (tab waterI) has to be imported to the island, like nearly everything else (food, drinks).

The larger problem are the foreign residents/vaccation homes.The high demand brought the prices up that much, that a young spanish couple can´t pay the housing prices anymore. Normally Spanish people buy a home, latest when they get married. But due to the foreign demand they can´t pay the prices anymore, and rental is very expensive too in all of Spain.
