Question:

Make up looks white in pics?

I am currently using MAC Studio Fix NW45 but it's too costly to keep buying. I'm trying to switch over to something from the regular store. I bought Revlon Deep powder but it comes out looking whitish in pics even though the shade appears to match when I look in the mirror. Why is it appearing white in pictures? I am not using a foundation, or anything else. I am wondering if I should be buying foundation and not powder.

  1. Your buying a shade too light for your skin, if it looks ok in the mirror invest in a good strong lamp or better yet move your mirror beside a strong natural light source.

  2. when you take a pictures go on www.picnik.com or .co.uk cnt member which one   :S

    and edit them its great:D

or download picasa2 there great i always use them :)

    hope i helped x

  3. "Yaz" is right you are buying your powder in a shade too light for your skintone.

Option #2: Try a bronzer on the apples of your cheeks for more depth.

  4. It's only appearing white because of the flash of the camera. Or maybe the lighting is bright so it makes your skin look really light. I don't wear foundation since i find it cakey and it gets oily throughout the day. I'd die without my concealer and powder haha =]
