"Wish Yuvraj a speedy recovery! Asking officials to find the quantum and nature of help required. Government should and will help him," Maken tweeted on Sunday.
The minister’s pledge of support is one among a tide of prayers and good wishes for the 30-year old batsman. The left-hander’s physiotherapist Dr Jatin Chaudhary, explained that since the tumor has been detected in the first stage, it is “100 per cent curable”. He further added that the player will be fit to play by May, and is already eager to get back to the field. Yuvraj’s mother, Shabnam Singh, also insisted that her son is fine, and will return to cricket in not too distant future.
