Hey I wanted to ask if for a 12 year old, ( I'm turning 12 fairly soon ), is eyeshadow, such as cream shadow from revlon, NYX shadesticks, MAC sharkskin shadestick, regular eyeshadow from claires and icing, loose powder eyeshadow, maybelline eyeshadow, and more famous companies, and just lip gloss, ok for 12 year old girls to wear? I mean not ALL that eyesadow at one time... But year you get it. Also coastalscents eyeshadow palettes too. So thanks, just getting your opinion thanks!

Yeah It's fine, It doesn't really matter what the brand name is.

Eyeshadow and clear gloss is fine but maybe you want to ctick to cheaper brands sicne your young. I mean it's not like you REALLY need the expensive stuff yet. Stick with Claires and Icing but leave the Mac and NYX alone for a few years

you are 12 why are you focusing on makeup... lipgloss is enough for a 12 year old unless you want to look like a clown.

Hun, Youre 12.  Stick with just lipgloss. If you really think you need makeup, use clear masacara and then curl your eyelashes. It looks like youre wearing mascara but you still have a natural look.

Yes, but i don't know if you want to go all the way up to mac. NYX is a good brand, so is jane. BTW, Revlon creme shadows SUCK, they crease so badly. I think eyeshadow is fine for a 12 yr old to wear. Coastalscents palettes are amazing. Lipgloss and eyeshadow sounds just fine for a 12 yr old.

As long as you keep it light and natural, any brand works. I would stay away from dark shades though, like MAC's skarkskin shadestick.

hey! im 15, and i had just started wearing make up when i was about 12....i tried all the really neat looking things, and it really just made me look fake, when you're that young it really  doesn't look that goood, so for you i would say the brand doesn't matter, but stay away from the thick creamy stuff; try light pinks, and browns, and silversss and stuff like that and remember not to go overboard!!

yupp. that sounds fine. you dont want to over do it at 12. btu thats sound just about right for your age. good luck =]
