Making pictures smaller?

I want to upload photos onto a babysitting site, but I keep getting a message to make them smaller. How can I do this?

PHOTO BUCKET IS A GOOD SITE  WHERE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD PICS AND RESIZE THEM.

Go to tinypic.com and one the first page that you come to you have to upload the file/photo, than where is says resize pic which size you want then press upload the picture will come up. Then click view full size image and save the picture to you computer, then go back to your website and see if the size you picked is small enough if not go back and redo what you just did only chose a smaller size. For example if you chose default this time chose thumbnail. Good luck! =]
