okay, so i got this problem with malware... im scanning my computer with Spybot - Search and Destroy and my second search detected something called Win32.Agent.cmn and it has found 10,500 malware entries...seriously. its still going up as i type. how do i get rid of it all? a few minutes before, my first search only found 9,000 and it fix them all at the same time so i had to do them 50 at a time and after about 300 deleted i decided to start another search and thats when it increased. i have no idea what to do right now...

  1. Sounds like your are getting false positives if you had that many infections your computer would be very slow, a lot of them might also be relatively harmless cookies.

  2. As Soccer Dave has said it could well be a large number of false positives or it could also be a malicious codec. Try the following free programs:

    RogueRemover:

    http://www.download.com/RogueRemover/300...

Download, install, update, scan and follow on screen prompts.

    Malwarebytes Anti-Malware:

    http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant...

Download, install, update and select Full Scan.

Remove all infections that it finds after scan.

    Trojan and Worm Remover:

The program will work for a full 30 days, after which it will expire.

    SmitFraud Removal

Firstly, download the removal tool from here:

    VundoFix:

Disconnect your computer from the internet

    Run vundo

    Restart your computer

Run the tool again to ensure no traces are left.

If there are the reboot into Safe Mode and run FixVundo again.

If your desktop has changed or icons are missing also use:

Note: You should hit all "Repair" buttons even though it may not say "Found!" This will fix a wallpaper hijack everytime if all repair buttons are pressed.

    Scan online with Housecall:

    http://housecall.trendmicro.com

    or  BitDefender;

    or F-Secure:

If the problem persists, turn OFF System Restore and scan with the above programs in Safe Mode, Right click My computer > select Properties > System Restore Tab > Tick Turn Off System restore on all drives.

After scans are complete and machine is clean remember to turn system restore back ON and create a new restore point.

Once your scans are complete and your machine is clean, uninstall some of the programs, I suggest that you keep Malwarebytes for manual scanning, Spyware Doctor for realtime monitoring and Spybot. The remainder can be removed to save drive space, but you may want to keep the installers for future use.

  3. I would run spy bot and other programs in the safe mode they will have a better chance of removal.  or you might be better off reformatting your hard drive and reinstalling windows. make sure you turn off system restore.
