how do the camera guys sleep and eat

and does bear and the camera guys take showers or somehow bathe themselves

Man vs Wild is all simulated to show you "worse case" situations, and 1 possible way of handling it. A good while ago it came out that he was recieving assistance from his crew, from giving him some food to actually taking him out of the area to a hotel for the night, then returnig him the next day to continue to shoot the show.

It is no longer meant to be a show about him surviving the wild, but more about showing the viewer what they can do if they find themselves in certain situations. That said, he is also extremely trained at what he does, and more survivalists have said that Bear goes out of his way to make things more dangerous for the show, and suggest taking his advice with a grain of salt.
