Manchester City’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini has gone on to admit that his team is suffering from some serious problems, as he felt his team could have done a whole lot better in their game against Sunderland.
City went on to lose that game by one goal to nil, following a late goal which was scored by former City attacker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adam-Johnson-c3537.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 was not very happy about the way the goal was scored as he feels that his team should have won a free kick in the build up to the goal.
However, he also went on to admit that there were clearly some problems with the players, which needed to be sorted out in the near future, in order for the team to progress forward.
While City were busy losing their game against Sunderland, their closets rivals, Manchester United were securing a very late win over Newcastle United. That win from United, coupled with City’s loss now sees the two teams being separated by seven points
at the top of the Premier League table.
The manager has now begun to ask questions of the attackers that he has at his disposal, as he feels that his forwards could have done a whole lot better in the game.
"Next year we won't come. We won't spend the money to come here but in the end we won the title [last season].”
"We didn't deserve to lose, we dominated this game, I don't know how it's possible that we didn't win this game, but every year it is the same.”
"I'm frustrated at this because it's impossible that our strikers don't score but we have this problem, we don't score enough to win the game. This is a big problem at the moment."
The manager was particularly disappointed with the way the referees failed to see the foul that took place prior to the goal being scored.
When talking about that incident, the manager went on to add: "Maybe Zabaleta deserved a red card"
"I don't think the referee and the linesmen had a good performance today."
It is now a wait to see how the manager and his team respond in the coming weeks.
