we have a man hole in our laundry roof, and the cover slides down in to place. To move it to one side..you have to actually lift it up about 5 inches..then move it over.

The kids are scared of it..because they saw a huge m**o spider come out of it lol..so I know they aint the ones moving the cover. My partner, Im sure, doesnt even know where the laundry is, its just a mythical place to him and he insists hes not moving the cover..and I know Im not the one moving the cover..(Im as scared of spiders as the kids are lol) theres only one door to the laundry, a heavy wind would have to turn 2 corners first before it even got to the manhole...

so how on earth does a heavy manhole cover lift itself up and move to one side?? Anyone???

The kids are convinced the house is haunted..LOL

  1. hmmm thats a little odd. I couldnt tell you. If it isnt the wind maybe you have an animal living in there? just a thought!

  2. mine moves all the time... its just the wind

wind seems to be powerfull... i have not yet witnessed a 'huge m**o spider' come out of mine YET but i cant think of anything else moving it but wind, plus my bedroom is near it and on windy nights i can hear it knocking and moving around... my mum told me that there is a homeless person living in my roof... but i doubt that... oops... dont let you kids see i wrote that lol
