Manicured nails and Mystic Tan question...?

Will a Mystic Tan ruin manicured nails, make them look orange? Also, how do you know when to move through the 4 numbers you stand on when you're doing the Mystic Tan??

yes they will ruin your nails but the tanning place will sell you things to put over ur fingernails
