Maple Leaf Meat Recall.?

Question

I had some ezee lunch meat, ment for subs, in 2 of my sandwiches on thursday, friday, saturday...

I'm worried about this meat reacall. I'm 16 years old.

Can someone please explain the symptoms?

I work in a grocery store and had to field calls all day today. Yes the lunch meat you ate is on the list but I wouldn't worry about it to much, that particular lunch meat wasn't on the original list it was pulled as a precaution.

Listeriosis can cause flu-like symptoms, such as a stiff neck, headache, nausea and fever.

Healthy individuals may remain symptom-free. However, pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are at greatest risk.

I highly doubt that you will be affected by any of this. I'm positive that the meat was triggering heart disease, mainly in older people. So hun, don't be worried. I also think that the people who had passed were people that  consumed large quantities of meat.I dunno, just don't worry about it.

Don't worry,

Be careful with yourself, look for signs that doesn't usually happen in your body, and if you feel a bit weird, see a doctor right away, don't treat yourself. Chances are, nothing will happen, though, you never know..I don't mean to scare you, I'm just saying, keep a very close eye on your health and if anything that you notice is changing, like runny nose, blurred vision, cramps, etc..then see the doctor.
