Marc-andre fleury!!!!!!?

Question

so basically i will say this is probably my favourite game of the 08 year and it's all based on pure robbery by marc andre on the dynamite red wings.

i don't care about the score. what do you think of this kid. everyone who rags on him and uses his age as an excuse should stop. he's actually a really good goalie, and he's going to have a good career.

Fleury is amazing. Now the Pens have had the best 2 games of 08. One on Jan. 1 against Buffalo, now tonight/yesterday with the Red Wings.

I did not know that Marc-Andre was only 23 years old.  Very good goalie.  Enjoyed the game tonight.

He's an outstanding goalie with incredible talent and some luck :P

Fleury is my HERO!!! Seriously, this guy is AMAZING!!! He won the game for the pens with all his great saves! In my book he takes mvp of the game, no question.

Djup, you're wrong. Fleury has been incredible, but Crosby was POSESSED tonight. Fleury may have been the most consistent, but not the only...Hossa, anyone?

That said, the kid can flat out stop the puck...incredible.

I know it contradicts your wanting people to stop using Fleury's age as an excuse .. but give him 5 - 10 years (if the Pens can keep their core players) and he could be the next Brodeur

The man is amazing, he just became my favorite goalie of this year.  They almost messed him up playing too much early in his career, but he is really paying off now and making a name for himself.  Goalies take longer to reach their potential and the penguins were smart to never give up on him like alot of other teams would have.  They have a great thing going in Pittsburgh, a cup contender and their best players are all under 25 yrs old.  Wait five years and they sweep the playoffs.
