Margarito's next opponent?

Question

The only fighters that i know who would want to fight Margarito again are Cotto and Williams. How do you think these rematches will end up? Also, i think it would be a good idea to make Williams and Cotto fight for the rematch with Margarito. How will that end up?

williams wont beat margo again, margarito started slow that fight and hurt williams in the late rounds, is margarito starts fast he should be able to beat williams

Personally, I'd like to see Cotto-Margarito 2 in February or March of 2009. Perhaps May 5, 2009?

Paul Williams would be a great match-up as well.

Obviously, there would be a lot of money in a fight with De La Hoya, but I would be stunned if Oscar took that match. It's too much risk for a 35 year old guy with 9 fights in 8 years.

Throw Shane Mosley into the mix as well, especially if he beats Mayorga.

mayorga there is a good few but cant see him wanting him to soon but may be some time soon we will see a rematch...

triaidad show he had speed when in with jones and looked good as fast as jones at times yeh he went down twice but he was not hurt legs went but thats tito gets up for more...and look it was over 170 and it was roy jones the man who got my respect

was felix tito trinidad at the end.......as  his fight with wright he was not there..

it may sound silly but ive seen thing before so this would not be so bad as you would have a fight as good as last nites.

cotto will never beat margarito,williams will always beat rito but cotto may ko williams ...funny huh? it's like mayorga will always beat forrest,forrest will always beat shane mosely but mosely will always beat mayorga.

Paul Williams should be Margarito's next opponent.

Cotto needs another tough but beatable opponent for his next fight, as a confidence booster.  Williams would be to tough of a comeback fight for Cotto at the moment.  I see him fighting Clottey, Mayorga, or even Mosley in a rematch.

The winner of a Margarito/Williams rematch will be the current undisputed welterweight champ in my opinion, and could possibly unify all the titles in the future.

Cotto needs some other fights before going back to a rematch with Margarito.  A second lost to Margarito this early, would devastate his career.  Expect their rematch to come, but not anytime soon.

i doubt tht cotto would take the rematch and i think cotto would take a figh or two until he fights for another title.  Margaritos opponents are between three fighters.  He could very well fight the winner of next weeks fight for the ibf welterweight title that margarito vacated in order to fight cotto.  The fighters in tht title match are Zab Judah who got knocked out by cotto last year and josh clottey who lost to margarito by close decision which couldve been a loss for margarito b/c clottey hurt his hand early in the fight.  The other is a rematch with lanky paul williams but Bob arum and Goose the promoters of both margarito and williams have bad blood b/c williams wanted pavlik but for more money arum offered so i doubt seeing taht as his next fight.  The other is Oscar DE la hoya in his farewell bout but personally i have no doubt tht de la hoya would not want to fight margarito after the punishment he gave to cotto.  But that could happen on dec 6th if it does.  The last opponent could be Shane Mosley and it would give margarito a 6th month layoff cus shane has a fight with mayorga in september to that wouldnt happen till deember or january.  If williams did fight cotto i think it would be a good fight but i dont see cotto fighting top notch competition after that beating he took.  Out of these options my favorite choices are:

1. De la hoya: big money fight 2 great mexican warriors huge fan support and a fight which could end up like when oscar de la hoa knocked out chavez to end the jcc era and begin the oscar de la hoya era for mexican boxing.

2. Williams would be a great rematch i would like to see margarito avenge his loss

3. Mosley a good fight with a hall of famer and a classic brawler iw oul be very interested to c if margaritos pressure could break he will of mosley which cotto didnt in their fight last year.
