what job could possibly keep me near lasvegas in the reserve's

i kno they can put me anywhere but what would keep me out west maybe

It's not your job per se, it's your posting.  Talk to the recruiter.  Generally, if you train for an existing space in a specific unit, your chances of getting assigned there are much higher.

In the reserves they DO NOT place you anywhere..You choose an MOS that is near your home..That is the whole point of the reserves, to be near your home..

Whatever MOS are nearest you are the ones that you should choose..they do not choose one for you..

You are only allowed to join a unit within 200 miles of where you live, that determines which positions are available for you.
