How do I beat expert ghosts in time trials on mario kart?

watch the world record races for the track you want to beat and try to do it like them.

if you dont have wifi then go to youtube and look them up

Drive the course better than them. I've beat a couple, but it's tough. Often times you'll want to use a bike so you can get the speed burst when you bust a wheelie. Also, during trials, try to use something with the highest speed that can still make the corners. Acceleration doesn't matter because once you fast-start, if you hit anything and slow down you're gonna lose anyway.
