2nd degree brown (solid brown)

1rst degree brown (brown with black stripe)

what is the order of belts at your schools?

American Freestyle

white- 10th and 9th degree

orange- 8th and 7th degree

green- 6th, 5th, and 4th degree

red 3rd and 2nd degree

red and black (cho dan bo)

When I studies Karate, it was the following:

Non (wears a white belt)

White - 10th kyu - 7th kyu

Green - 6th kyu - 3rd kyu

Brown - 2nd and 1st kyu

Black - Dan ranks.

Now, I study Aikido.  In my dojo there are only two belts...

Kyu Grade - White belt

Dan Rank - Black belt

People know without having to look at a chart - just train and everything you need to know it right there.

Hint: The rank of your partner isn't something you need to know to train or to learn.

11. midnight bluebelt (blackbelt) with 1 white stripe

who cares any way? s***w ranks.  Life style is life style rank only represents your time as a practitioner .... does that mean I can be president because I know alot about U.S. domestic and foreign policy?  LOL .... s***w ranks.  BEsides I can't post all of the belts in my system as a answer to this question it'll only let me go as far as blut belt for some reason.

And as always take your thumbs down and pound it with salt and then use butter and have your wife pull it out for you later.
