  1. I think its truly a spectacular performance by the Ferrari`s to stun the Mclaren team.hope everything goes well for tomorrow race

  2. Fantastic job from Massa. Kimi made mistakes in his fast lap and that cost him the pole. But anyway... great Q by both of them. Now the most important is keeping the lad behind them thru Turn 1, and the championship begins to look prettier

Mclaren was very fast, but I saw the same kind of problems as they did in Barcelona... the handling just doesn't seem 100%. Heikki looked smoother, but slower.

  3. Yah congrat's to Massa and he does not like Monaco but he could not wipe the smile off his face during the press conference. If he can win from pole it will be the first time for Ferrari since 1979 with Jody Scheckter.

  4. Massa was fantastic, though he doesn't like Monaco he is quick there. Massa was the only driver not to get lapped by the then dominant Mclarens last year and he was on for a good result in 2005, until then team mate Villneuve drove into him!

Hamilton looked good but was sliding around too much to get pole.

Kubica looked both fast and in control, as did Rosberg.

Alonso pulled a creditable lap out of nowhere.

Coulthards luck seems to of well and truly run out!

Nakajima did a solid job considering hes never raced a F1 car at Monaco.

    Piquet poor as usual.

Sutil actually did ok for a change, close to the guys in front.

Congrats to Fisichellas 200Th GP weekend, shame he didn't produce his best at one of his strongest circuits.

  5. It's nice to see Massa still in the title hunt after his earlier mistake's this season and if he win's it's just more fuel added to his fire. I think he is finally realizing that he must be a dependable challenger for the championship or his day's are numbered at Ferrari.

  6. Congratulations to Ferrari. Had Raikkonen not have made a few mistakes, he could've been on pole. I'm not as surprised as some people are. Ferrari often keep their powder dry and unleash their true potential in qualifying. I'm not sure what to think about McLaren's situation. The car didn't look as bolted to the road compared to Thursday, and maybe the team got a bit cocky and thought they could get away with putting another lap or two's fuel in the car. If McLaren have got some more fuel, if they can keep in touch with the Ferraris. Safety car periods and rain are also on the agenda. It's not all lost yet for McLaren, but there's a lot of work to be done. Before I pass comment on the car's pace, I'll wait until I've seen the race.

Rosberg and Kubica did pretty well. In fact, from the way Kubica was talking, he could've found himself on the second row had he been able to warm his tyres up on his out lap.

Coulthard's accident was weird. To me, it looks like something went wrong on the car. It will be interesting to find out for certain.

  7. I was really pleased with Kubica's and Rosberg's performance. I dont know what hapened to Heidfeld, I think something was wrong with his car because they brought the car into the garage with 3 minutes left in Q2. To be frank, I think Massa will probably crack under pressure from whoever is behind him and will hit a barrier or will get lucky and spin out but lose the lead.

I hope BMW gets their maiden win sometine soon!!
