Mawi - love him or hate him?

I've heard a few of his songs on youtube and he seems like an ok kind of dude and Wikipedia describe him as "a new phenomenon in the Malaysian music industry"

But it seems that everyone in YAM hates him...I wonder why that is?

Oh dear... I don't like him because he is so famous. Don't get me wrong but he's EVERYWHERE!!! People are all talking about him, crowning him the greatest and such that it annoys me. Then he appears on instant noodles, water bottles, etc... GAH!!!
