My name is Morick Gibson Mwasaga, I got my name MORICK from my father saying that he gave me this name in memory of his German doctor who treated him and saved his life back in the days, but I have been wondering the meaning and origin of my name still I don't get it wish somebody couls know it.

It appears to be a German- Prussian or Irish/English name. A few immigrants from Ireland and England, about triple that amount from prussia/germany immigrants had this name.Keep in mind this might have been one entire family. There was no origin of the name that I could find.It has no meaning in german. There is a road in Australia named morack . morick may be a  misspelling of morack.
