Meanings behind drawings??

Question

I have heard there are meanings behind the things you doodle on a pad of paper?

I can never work out why I constantly draw As on my papers and also hearts with flames in and around them

You like someone right now even if you dont notice it., I like people alot and over 3/4 of my papers have hearts on them.

My take is that we use doodling as a way to occupy our subconscious to a level which allows us to concentrate more on one subject.

The act of doodling occupies brain cycles which would otherwise be used to conjure up meandering thoughts of a myriad of general subjects and thus reduce our capability to concentrate effectively on one specific subject.
