Measuring small objects. ?

Question

Is there way to measure small objects, like paper clips or whatever, without a balance beam? So yeah, just like something that would weight in the grams, not food wise though.

You can buy small scales that have analog or digital readouts that can masure this range.  They are not very expensive and you can get ones a typical stores like Bed Bath and Beyond and such.  They use methods like internal springs or piezo crystals to do the weighing.  some are even battery powered
