Media double standard?

Tell me I'm wrong, when the John Edwards rumors came out about his alleged affair before the Iowa caucasus, all the respectable news organizations reason for not reporting it was because it was an unsubstantiated rumor, therefore not news worthy. Yet, they had no problem running the rumors of Sarah Palin's child actually being her daughters child,despitee the fact those were unsubstantiated rumors.

Have these news organizations now lost all credibility with regards to being biased towards the democrats, in general, and Obama specifically??

Double standard? No there isn't. John Edwards is not asking us to trust the security of the country to him so he is irreverent to this election. If he was still a viable candidate, the media would be raking him over the coals as well. And how has the media been bias towards Democrats? There have been plenty of unproven humors floated around about him for months now.

However, even if it were true, it would only be one incidence in a long string of media idiocies. The Media are whores that trade access for publicity. They directly support McCain now because they both don't want to talk about  real issues.
