I just recently started to meditate and im a little suprised about the whole thing, i wasnt really thinking about what i was doing but somehow i managed to get into sitting on a cushion, straight back etc.

What i found was a lot more...solid(?) than what i thought it would be like, first it was just normal closing eyes then my mind sort of rolled and it felt like my eyes were open behind the lids (lol, yeah), I also felt like i was above myself, like i had 2 bodies the one here (then, it was down below) and this other one which, i know is gonna sound weird but felt like i was a giant, thousands of miles big taking up the universe...........

Lol, i know this sounds weird and isnt really a question but i just wanted to know peoples thoughts on it.

  1. meditationis extrmely easy ,just do the following as taught by

           'param pujya ASARAMJI bapu';

    1--chant OM (OM as in HOME but without the 'H')repeatedly,forget everything just do it NOW !!!!!!!

    doing this for 5-10 mins will give a sense of power within you!!!

    for more strong and fast response ,

    2--chant 'hari om'(hari as in HURRY & om as in HOME without the 'H') do this repetedly & a point will come where you will feel like just close your eyes & do that .At this point increase the number of O in om like HARI OOOM & then HARI OOOOOOOOM & so on.when you chant this VEDIC MANTRA then remain silent (no thinking!,fidgeting,moving,etc... for an amount of time taken to chant this one mantra.this looks very very simple but its effects are very very very large (even ALBERT EINSTEIN would not had imagine it !!!!!!!!!). this is called 'CHUP SADHANA' & i learned it from 'param pujya ASARAMJI bapu'.---->"www.asharam.org " also read JEEVAN RASAYAN a book from ----------------"http://hariombooks.goog... " tihs will help remove all weakness from you,believe me millions have obtained benefits from it ,literally.

    --Aumkar Dhyan with Viniyog

    note: women are not to chant OM during their PERIODS, in its place they can chant  HARI (as in hurry)

  2. Meditation is a great way to relax and detach from the physical body. (astral projection). A lot of times it's the key to understanding oneself.. I love meditating :)

  3. Nice work!  You've discovered astral projection, also known as Out of Body Experience or OBE.  Good, isn't it?

  4. I understand the feeling.  When I meditate, I go to a huge island in my mind.  Sometimes, I go to the southern side, which is the good side.  It is tropical and beautiful, and in my mind I have even build my own library. It took a long time to do, but now I have thousands of books to read when I meditate. Then, I have the northern side, where a huge volcano long ago erupted and burnt the whole land to a baren wastland of rock, ash, and darkness. That is where I go when I am angry, sad, or confused. During these mental travels, I have trained my concentration, and eventually my subconscience began to work on its own creating unexpected thrills and adventures.  Once you get your concentration down, and your subconscience to work with you, there's no telling what will happen when you meditate.  The mind is a powerful thing...

  5. Congratulations! You have achieved heaps! That is a classic perspective. You do have two bodies. You, and YOU. Sounds weird but its true. And you just discovered that you are so connected to the universe, you are one with it. Good work and I hope it continues to go well for you.
