  1. Every team has bad years. Carlton seems to have a bad DECADE. Melbourne needs a bit more support from the AFL, the sort that the Lions and the WCE have had since their inception.

As far as final eight is concerned, they don't have much chance this year, but if they can rebuild, they may do better next. Certainly Robertson seems to have his mind and heart on a media career, and Neitz has lost a lot of his pizazz, so yeah, blood a few more kids and get the mid-level players to step up.

Maybe get David Schwartz to coach the team on specialist skills, he was the best thing they had till he retired.

  2. i thought they might put it up tp the hawks on sunday, but they were that bad it was not funny

  3. We had a bad round 1. And I really don't think any team is that bad... Especially against the Hawks. Hopefully we can win a few games early. The spring board is hopefully the Bulldogs.

    CARN THE DEES!

  4. Maybe they should become the West Sydney Demons?

  5. I no seriously they have been bad for ages i mean even in there last grand final they were bad. They just need to get some knew talent.

  6. they're not as bad as they played in round one. I think they need to turn the list over. Get rid of Nietz, Robertson etc, blood the kids. They have some good young player, Mclean, Silvia, Jones, McDonald and such but need to add many to this and to do that the old blokes have to go. But yeah I don't know who they're gonna beat this year.

  7. They were shocking against Hawks. I'm hoping they don't come out with a good game this Saturday as they're playing my team the Bulldogs. :)

  8. They will *** bak and get 2nd in the AFL premiship

  9. Mate, you have to feel for them, they will be in all sorts of trouble as the season goes on.

wait till they play geelong, west coast, and some of the heavy scoring sides.

if they get some injuries it will only compound the problem even more, to melb supporters, get behind your club, they need support, having said all that, it is only round 1, are we maybe jumping the gun a little, probably not.
