Can someone tell me what this is exactly? My daughter had a 'friend' install a radio in her car....you know how teens are...and the guy must have not know what he was doing because when you cut the car off...you loose everything. Is it possible to fix without spending a BUNCH of money which I would have paid for to let someone in that business do.?

  1. its the orange wire .connect it to cig lighter wire

  2. remove the cd deck and in the back all the wires coMing out of the back of the unit will be labelled find the one that says memmory or 12v unswitched find a wire in the dash with constant power even with the key out and splice them together and you're done

  3. If the radio came with a installation booklet it will tell you which colour wire to connect to constant power side of the ignition . if you do not have a booklet some companies have a diagram printed on the radios housing and some companies even have name tags on there wiring. This job shouldn't take long, it would help if you had a test light or just take it to your local installer and let him know. If the wire is still connected to the stereo 10 to 15 mins tops to hook it up properly.
