Memory card for canon 40D?

Can anyone tell me how to calculate how many pictures a memory card will hold? I want to know for a 2gb, 4gb, and 8gb. But if anyone just knows of some way to calculate it, that's fine too

I have a Canon 40D, which is 10.1 megapixels, I believe, and I shoot in RAW form. Thank you :]

Your owners manual has a chart with all that information and if all else fails, you can put one of your cards in the camera and then do the calculations.
