Memory dialer

Question

I have a Uniden cordless phone and answering machine.  I recently had to replace the handset battery and lost all my numbers saved in the memory dialer.  I can't find the instruction booklet and don't know how to put the numbers back in.  I tried several ways, but they don't work. The hand set has a "rocket dial" on it and is 2.4GHz.
