Memory thing for ds?

My friend said a lot of his friends have these memory things for their ds's so that they can download games off the net and listen to music on their ds's and stuff. Could someone please give me some information on what they actually are, how they work, where to get them etc.?

What it is, is a memory chip the size of a normal ds game. There are different types. Some with a usb plug or mine that hold a micro sd memory card.

Yes you can put all kinds of stuff on it (music, videos, movies, ect). Some even let you go online through wifi and bc it has a mic it can work as a phone too. lol but that a whole different story.

All the games to download are free. I get mine off of www.dashroms.com

It cost about the same amount of a ds light but its well worth the money if you like alot of ds games like I do.

supercard and superkey together  around 80 bucks but you can like do anything or i recomend x-rom just for gba

your friends have flashcarts, these are the same sizes of a normal ds cart (or some sort of slot 2 device) you can order them online, you can buy one flashcart in wal-mart and best buy, it is called games n music, while it is not the best flashcart around it's the cheapest and a good start for someone like you, it's around 40 bucks though

Well I know that with some games you can get a bunch of DS's together and connect using "download and play" at the main menu.

But on the Wii, you can get demo's of games you don't have downloaded to your DS.

And I have no clue how to get music, but I sure would like to know how!
