Question:

Men vs. Women Question?

Why is it okay for women to tell other men "I have to go pee", but it is gross when men say they have to go pee?

I personally find either genders saying it disgusting, so why is it typically acceptable for women to say it?

  1. They feel comfortable with you so they just say anything to you because they feel more confortable with you or maybe they are just acting childish?

Its not even disgusting, all they are saying "I have to go pee" which sounds funny and cute? Whats wrong with that?

  2. haha GREAT QUESTION!! i dont quite kno how to awnser that but i think when a guy says "i gotta take a p**s" its the same as when a girl says it but i know that some girls think its disgusting ok but the point is YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND GIRLS!!

  3. Your correct, either gender only shows a lack of class when in mixed company. Spouses talking to each other must have provided lattitude as each realtionship offers unique levels of communications between the two. Beyond that, going p*** as spouted by some people of the female gender can be viewed as someone who misses social respect.

  4. I never really thought about it being accepted or not accepted. For me I think i just get up and go or I might say 'excuse me back in a minute'.

  5. it's ok for either gender to say it in my book. although i'd normally say 'p**s' or 'go to the bathroom'

would you rather they say, 'i have to go powder my nose?'. wouldn't you find that a bit odd coming from a man?

  6. I think it is the manner in which both genders typically tell one another this.  There is a difference between "I need to use the restroom" and "I've gotta take a p**s."  The first is acceptable regardless of gender, the second is unacceptable regardless of gender.

  7. Because woman usuallly use it as an excuse to get away and guys don't think about things like that so when a girl says it they figure she actually has to pee.

  8. Because guys are gross.

  9. Lmfao why would you find that disgusting? Seriously what is WRONG with you?

  10. That is a hard question, but i do agree with you when you say "I personally find either genders saying it disgusting."

  11. I find it gross when women or men say it.  I know that it is natural for people to go to the bathroom but why do they always feel the need to express it out loud.  Wierd no one really needs to know about it really.

  12. Most people I know say"I have to use the toilet/bathroom" neither gender would say "I have to go sh*t" so I don't see why they have to inform you they need to urinate. Or if you do make it a bit comical, I sometimes use "I have to go and squeeze the Ferret" I'm not sure what a woman could say though.

  13. And why is it offensive when a man shaves his pubic hair  into the shape of a lightning bolt but not a woman?

Because Feminism is sub culture of sexism.

  14. it's not disgusting to me, just make sure you close the door all the way!

I personally say "I have to use the restroom" or "i have to piddle."

  15. Don't be so disgusted when people announce their need to pee. Instead be disgusted with the staving children all over the world or the people who lost everything in the floods...

  16. I don't think it's gross when either gender says it. It's a bodily function. h**l, my husband will say he has to take a p**s and then go do it with the bathroom door open. Which I don't exactly love but I have gotten used to.

  17. i dont think itz disgusting for a guy to tell their going to pee...for me itz just normal...i really care less

  18. I don't find it gross when either say it.  If you have to go, you have to go.  Now, in public is a different story.  Just excuse yourselves w/out the info.

  19. I always say p**s not pee.

  20. I don't find it disgusting, it's a natural thing that every animal does. Why does it gross you out so much, it's not like they're taking you to the bathroom with them.

  21. "I have to go and take a pee" is fine with me.

I have also heard some men say "I have to take a slash" or "I'm going for a dump"

    Disgusting.....but funny lol

  22. Coz women are "cute"

so its cool if we say it...its like "ohmygod I have to go peee"

excellent point though. thats the best answer I can come up with :S

  23. well generalizing is not a good thing, I dont know people that say "I have to go pee",  they say, I have to go to the toilet, or I need to go to the bathroom.... anyway... Why is it wrong to say it?... well all go, dont we?

  24. If you have to pee, then you have to pee.  It's just a fact, regardless of who says it.  I don't see a difference between the two.

  25. I never say that.  I didn't know that it was acceptable for women to say, but I still won't say that because it's kind of a personal thing.

  26. haha. Well, i usually hear men say it and not woman. But if i man was on a date and was like "I HAVE TO GO PEE!" it sounds like he is about 3 years old. I think if anyone says it that its gross...I just think if a woman says it guys could really care less.

  27. says who- everyone says it when they are drunk man or woman and its understood by the other partner - but otherwise its always going to the ladies or the wash room

  28. the men that accept that are true gentlemen.

  29. It is true that I know a lot of women who say "I have to pee," but I can't think of any men who say this... . If men announce their waterhole intentions at all, it is usually by saying either "I have to p*ss" or "I have to take a dump." Something along these lines, anyway. I really can't see a man saying "I have to go pee."

  30. When a woman says she has to go pee is so disgusting and unlady-like. Something has happened with the females of the late-Gen X'ers and most of the Gen Y'ers, that makes them think that it is acceptable to be so vulgar in front of a man. Girls even talk about their periods in front of me. It is disgusting and I wish they would stop.

  31. Women may want someone to know that the need is urgent. They have smaller bladders. And it may be that they were delaying a bit too long and they are just mentioning it because there is a strong imperative to take care of business.

I have heard men tell women that they have to hit the head, etc.

    Why is it disgusting?

Sure, you don't have to tell someone why you are taking off. I think we can figure it out.

    C. :)
