Meniscus Surgery?????

I'm a 13-year-old female. I am suppose to get an Arthroscope of my knee in about a month. I might have torn my Meniscus.

I am planning on auditioning for a show that has some dancing (but not major) that is going to open about 2 months after the surgery.

If I get the surgery, and he does not need to repair anything, how long will it take for me to be able to get back to dancing?

If I do need to repair it, how long does it take to heal it well enough?

I had this surgery done and walked out of hospital same day. Ask your doctor but my doctor wanted me to take it easy for 1 week went back for a follow up and released to do anything I wanted.

Ask your doctor what they will recommend.

Usually your off your feet for about 5-6 days and as long as you do your physical therapy after you should be up and back to normal. Your advantage is that your young and heal quick. the surgery itself is the same day.
