Question:

Menstrual weight gain?

i've been on a healthy diet and exercise a lot,

but how come even though i've been watching my calorie intake,

i gained 3-4 lbs.

but i've been on my period for a week now, and i'm wondering if my period could be the cause of my weight gain?

i've never really noticed that in my past menstrual cycles, but that's probably because i didn't weigh myself as much.

and since the diet, i have a really small flow, and no cramps.

i used to have really strong cramps, but no cramps.

  1. when your on your period your body retains water (which makes you bloat) this could be why....

  2. maybe ur intake of calories went down but your intake of carbs went up ?

    im not sure.

maybe its water weight from ur period

  3. Muscle weighs more than fat, perhaps you have gained muscle and lost fat.

  4. Your midlife crisus yeas That is possible

  5. This is perfectly normal. Every girl goes through this stage. Dont worry it is perfectly normal! If you are really worried, go see a doctor about the problem. But trust me, its fine!

  6. before and during the menstrual cycle a woman can gain up to 7lbs don't worry its perfectly normal, it will probably disappear itself.

    hope this helps!
