Mercedes SL500 Emergency Brake Question!?

MY Sl500 2007 emergency brake is down and i dont know how to take it off. It is one of those brakes that are next to the pedal and normal brake. How do i take the emergency brake off? Thanks

If by emergency brake, you actually mean parking brake.

Push on the pedal as if setting the brake and it should release!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. if it has a handle just pull on it.

2. if it has no handle use you foot and push down on the pedal and it should release.
