The art form continues to evolve and, along with technological advances, cinema is available to more producers and the widest audience in history. Certainly not the only demerit but one that has no means of repair is the fact that cinema today is diluted. With so much available, from classics to contemporary, it is more difficult today for a single film to have the cultural impact of "Gone With the Wind."
