Mermaid stuff for my book

ok i am a writer well i want to be i write alot of books i decided to write one about fairytales i decided to choose mermaids so i need lots of infomation as in sightings scales or teeth found sailors reporting savor from them please add dates and if possible names and locations thank you anything basically about mermaids thanks. (also some good websites) plzz

check wiki; they have some wonderful stuff on there. also check your local library in the nonfiction; also old news papers from the 1300's to 1900's. Also google mermaids to come up with some good websites.

Its all about research; trust me. Yahoo answers wont give you all your answers!

dk but good luck on the book! im writing a book to about mermaids but it going to be about a girl falling in love with a princes or idk what! something like that!!
