Metalic Threads?

Does anyone know if i can use metalic threads to overlock with? I would be overlocking the sides of my bag. Thanks

Yes, but only in the loopers: metallic threads don't do well in the needles...

As the others say, take it slowly.

Just take it slow or the threads will break ;)))

You just need to make sure that you buy thread suitable for the sewing maching, otherwise the thread will break when you try to use it.

Of course you could hand stitch the edges with blanket stitch.
