Meteorology or Optometry?

What job/degree do you think would be better? and why? Taking into consideration: prospects, salary, job availability et cetera.

Meteorology is a lot more involved once you are in it and the jobs are not that plentiful.    Both are good fields though.

In Optometry you can help people while making money. You can be  your own boss, have your own business, always an advantage to write things off.

The population is getting older and more and more glasses and eye exams are needed, hence more work.

Meteorology, people will always be mad at you because you did not predict the weather they want. On salary, depending on a boss on wage increases, no write offs.
