Ok, so i've taken the amtrak from Santa Ana to Burbank Airport a few times its very easy. But I found out that Metrolink is about half the price. I am going to a friends house in L.A. and need to know:

A- from Santa Ana to Burbank Airport do u have to transfer trains unlike on Amtrak

and

B- are the schedules listed at www.metrolinktrains.com/schedules the same for every day

  1. go to the website  for that i use the Santana  orange or the tustin train station too all the way to la union station but then i switch to metro link you should go to the website for that or jut ask for help or directions on the way i did all the way to Hollywood

  2. they have different schedules for the weekday and the weekend

(less trains are used on the weekend) and mostly likely you will have to transfer in Los Angeles (although I belive one or two trains *might be the same train (although you probably would

have get off and right back on  (you would have to ask the conductor)

also note that Metrolink only services the Burbank airport

stop *weekdays* ONLY metrolink does service the downtown

Burbank station *7 days a week

  3. A.  You would have to take the Orange County line from Santa Ana to LA Union Station, and then switch to the Ventura County line to get to Burbank Airport.

    B.  I think there is one schedule for weekdays and a separate one for Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.  It should say on the schedule what days it's for.
