Mexico Hospitals??

Question

I have heard only bad stories about Mexico hospitals. I have to have a C-Section if I have another child. Is this an issue I should be concerned about if I have a child when I move there?

ps- I mean no disrespect, just concerned.

Some of the hospitals in Mexico are better than US hospitals. If you are in a tiny village, or have no money and have to rely on the Red Cross hospital, it will be bare bones. If you have some money (25% to 50% of the US hospitals) or insurance, you will be fine.

Hey, its me..Charlie.  There are excellent private hospitals.  The public hospitals have very kind staff, smart docs, but very basic equipment.  if you live near La Gloria, you would have to go to Xalapa to the hospital...there are no hospitals in that area of tiny towns. Xalapa is about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs away.

any private hospital will do a good job, dont worry abt it.....juss think that there r thousands of mexican woman having babies everyday without any problem.

of course that bad things happen from time 2 time (as anywhere else) but its not the rule......ur gonna have no problem.

Go to a private hospital. Mexico city has good choices like the 'Hospital Español', 'Medica Sur', searhc for 'hospital privado mexico df' in google and you will find some you might like.

The only thing to worry about in a public hospital is the scar, they don't really care how you will look after your c-section, but to have the baby out in time, so you will be able to notice your scar, but that's it.

its just like here they are good and bad one but mostly bad ones. some just care about getting money. i know im mexican

yeah find out if the hospital there has anistectic, my ex girl her mom had all of them in her kitchen, with no doc justa mid wife yes naturally, do some research, from wat i know doctors down there are way better in terms as quaility and alternative medicine, but the conditins i dont know now if you go into the big city they have good hospital very nice, marble floors and **** better that here, places like mexico city and gadalajara, jalisco. good luck
