Mexico flights?

I have looked around a lot of travel operators flying from London to Mexico city at the end of April, but does anyone know if it's cheaper to fly from a different European city?

I flew for 677 euros with BA..thought that was ok

I would fly from London to the U.S first if you can. My cousin is Mexican and she did that. It came out cheaper.
