I think I have a mouse infestation in nd around the box bedroom of my house, and I dont know what to do. I cant tell my mum to get exterminators, she will go MAD. i have two traps in my room, but they don't seem to be doing much good, i still see a mouse popping up here and there in my bedroom and it allways seems to be arround the bookshelfs in the corner of my room, but i cant get to the corner because of the bookshelf, and I cant ask a parent for obvious reasons. And if i do get to the corner and find a nest or something like that, I don't know what I would do.

HELP ME PLEASE

I thought I got rid of these things but obviously not.

please help

  1. Mice have extraordinary skeletal abilities which allow them to access box bedrooms through the smallest of holes. I suggest the following:

Get a cat. Borrow one for a few days from your neighbour who is going on holiday. One whiff of cat and .....mice gone.

Or, (what is so obvious about not being able to tell parents ?) move bookcase and look for holes. Take wire wool (or unused Brillos) and stuff them in the holes.

Or, drop crumbs of arsenic infected chees into their holes and see how long they last.

    Good luck

  2. Buy the traps that just catch them and then release..  Email me for more info.

  3. If you think that the problem is only in your room, then they are getting in somewhere in your room (I don't know if you live on a ground level, but that would make the most sense). Anyway, look for small holes- mice can fit in a hole the size of a pencil. If you find one, fill it with steel wool. When they try to bite it, they run away. If you have classic mouse traps, but peanut butter on them. Also, they make stick pad mouse traps that the mice are drawn to and stick to. If you are using the right bait, I can't imagine not finding a mouse on one yet. If you have them, you should be seeing them on the traps.

I understand why you feel that you can't tell your mom, but you must tell some adult that can help you. Exterminators will be willing to give you advice over the phone if you tell them your situation. I called one before and he told me that it is so expensive for them to come out and inspect that they don't even want to do it unless it's a huge problem. Best bet, find an adult who can help you and is not afraid of mice.

  4. get some bait and place smal portions around.

just please make sure pets and children can't get it...

  5. you can buy something that is made especially for scaring mice which scares the mice away using a noise which is harmless to the mice.

       OR

try putting a small amount of chocolate with honey on top

    that's what we did x

  6. cant you borrow a friends cat for a few days, say when one of your friends is going on holiday instead of sending the cat to the kennels you could keep it, even if you could just borrow your friends cat for a couple of hours may help as the mice will smell the cats scent and it may encourage them to "move on", remove the trap for the safety of the cat by the way.

p.s - you don't say why your mum would be angry at you its not your fault that you have mice

  7. Why would your parents be angry? I doubt it is your fault, unless you have a horde of paper and rubbish in your room. You probably can't deal with this on your own,and they will be even more angry if they found out you have kept this from them. Bite the bullet and let them know, good luck!

  8. You need to tell your parents as it's their house and need to know. The mice could spread to other parts of the house.

It probably ain't the first time you mom will tell you off and I dare say it'll be the last lol.

If you really don't want to tell your parents, then you need to get some poison. You'll get this from your garden center of pet shop. The mice will take the poison back to the nest. You realy need to look behind the bookshelf too for any holes or nests. If you find a hole block it up.

  9. Well there are some options like using death or capture release traps.  If you are the type of person who doesn't like to see blood or dead animals then you would rather be better off to using the capture and release traps.  If you find a nest, don'tt panic.  To trap them use some hamster food or something but not cheese cuz it reallydoesn'tt work trust me.  So these are options without calling the exterminator.

  10. u can get one of those electric repels rodents

my aunt says it work great

    hope i helped

it cost almost 50 - 60 bucks or less
