Do you think If Michael Jordan didn't take those years of retirement or retired early he would have passed Kareem's Scoring Record ?

  1. Maybe. Who knows?

  2. I'd rev up my time machine, go back to right before he retired, tell him it isn't worth it, so just stay in basketball, then come back to this time and see what happens. It just so happens my time machine is in the shop awaiting a new engine hose so I guess we won't be finding out anytime soon...

  3. yes like in 94-95 and half of 95-96 he could have scored like 5000 points not to mention when he played with the wizars he averaged like 20 points so from 1999-2001 he would get like 3000-4000

and that makes about 38,000 which is higher than karreem( 37,000)

  4. Yes. He had 1 1/2 years off between 1993-1995 and then again another 3 years between 1998-2001. So if he didn't take that time off he would have taken the record (especially if he didn't retire the first time because then he was more of a scoring machine than his second comeback).

But still this will always be a if question. We should still stick with the reality, Michael didn't break it but he still had the best scoring average in the whole NBA when he retired.

    Hope this helps.
