Microsoft website for scanning a computer?

Question

I used an official Microsoft web page a few months ago to scan my computer for virus, threats and other junk that had accumulated on it and my anti virus software missed. It took about 45 minutes to scan and then clean things up, but it really improved my computer's performance. I THINK it was called something like disk scan or diagnosis, but I could be wrong. Anyway, i can't find it any more on the MS pages.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
