Personally I feel they could do with a stronger no. 2. Fergie isn't exactly the master tactician, and his no. 2s always do most of the training side.

Phelan has been a coach there for a while, and was filling in the no. 2 sport after Queroz left, but I dunno how good a no. 2 Phelan will be - I guess Fergie is the best judge of that!

Absolutely not, he'd be completely out of his league. Look at the actual managerial experience Queroz had when he was playing second fiddle to Fergie. He's even managed Madrid. No. Phelan needs to go away and cut his teeth before setting foot in the Old Trafford dug out and expecting to have a say.

No just kidding. United are going to miss Queroiz. There was a rumour at one point Steve Bruce would go back to Old Trafford as assistant manager, and im sorry but i dont rate mike phelan.
