A prime Mike Tyson is a dangerous fight for any fighter in history. But Shavers had phnominal power and although both these guys were big punchers, Shavers was possibly the hardest hitting heavyweight in history. Having said that though i think Tyson would be too fast and hard to hit for Shavers. He would use his excellent bob and weave style and get inside and hammer Shavers with body shots and uppercuts and get a stoppage around the middle rounds, Good question.

Shavers by early KO, Mike couldn't beat a fighter he couldn't intimidate, and he couldn't intimidate Earnie.

Earnie Shavers almost beat Holmes during Larry's prime and how Larry got up from that knockdown will always be a mystery to me.  He also gave Ali a major scare when they fought and is well known for scorching Ken Norton in one round.  I believe that both men meet in ring center and start throwing bombs.  In about the 5th round of a real barn burner, Shavers lands a similar punch that knocked Holmes down and Mike cannot beat the count.
