I'm getting married in two months. My fiance is a Calvary Scout and he'll be deploying to Iraq in January. I was wondering what would be a good wedding night gift I could give him. Do you have anything your wives gave you on your wedding night that you still have/use/love? Maybe an engraved pocket watch or wristwatch, laptop with webcam, box of stationary, memory cards for digital camera?

  1. get him a digi camera and take as many pictures of you two as you can before he leaves so while he's gone he can look at them.

  2. I think you should give something memorable from the heart. Custom handmade figurine is a unique gift for everyone!

I would highly recommend you visit http://aweddinggiftidea.com

Their professional artists will make a wonderful figurine of them. I sent them my favorite pictures of my husband and they made incredible "mini-me". That was awesome! My husband was very, very touched and pleased when I gave it to him as anniversary gift.

  3. You can always give him a Zippo lighter with his last name engraved on it. My wife gave me one it also had the Eagle Globe and Anchor for the Marines... I thought that was a cool gift.

  4. The best thing I can think of is taking some great pictures of the two of you in 3X5 inch and having them laminated on both sides. He will spend hours looking at them and remembering those times. They will make the trip to h**l and back and be a great source of bringing home the love you share. After his return, those pictures will be held in great regard and shown with pride to your grand children. Tell him an old Cav guy said thank you for your service and God's speed.

  5. s*x should suffice
