There has been alot of scepticism recently about how milk is bad and others say it is good

Is milk GOOD or BAD to drink.

  1. It has calcium in it to help build strong bones. It also contributes to weight loss and keeping a healthy body weight regulated.

    The only part of milk that I would say is not healthy is the bovine growth hormone. That is why organic milk is so much better.

    our body want to keep ca level in our body.

    so when we drink milk brain want to fix the balance of ca level. so brain try to take ca out of our bones and dump. which means we loose ca when we drink milk.

    you need to worry about osteoporosis when you drink milk.

    too much milk is not good kids as well. coz large amount of milk cause anemia. my youngest son's doc said dont drink milk much. he was anemia because of milk.

    However, some people are lactose intolerant....their body cannot break down the protein that is in milk.....some get diarrhea....stomach cramps.

    The pediatrician told my grand-kids to limit their milk intake when they have a cold or congestion because it produces more mucous and make you cough more and get more congested.  If it does not make you sick......drink in moderation.

  9. Its not all that good, try drink organic or soya and take calcium supplement for the added bone strength. Milk doesn't digest easily and is fattening

It is contaminated with cow's blood and pus and is frequently contaminated with pesticides, hormones, and antibiotics. Dairy products are linked to allergies, constipation, obesity, heart disease, cancer, and other diseases.

    So yes, I would say it is pretty bad for you. You have to remember, cow's milk was intended for the baby cows to drink, not humans. Humans are the only species that drinks another species milk well into our adulthood.

    FYI: Milk doesn't make your bones stronger since its high-protein content leaches calcium from the body. Harvard did a study of more than 75,000 nurses that suggests that drinking milk can actually cause osteoporosis.

    Calcium can actually be gotten in much healthier options if you are concerned about your daily intake such as broccoli, kale, spinach, etc... basically dark green leafy veggies.

  11. My opinion is that milk is good.  I drink 2% organic.  Not too high in fat, and no extra hormone surprises...and the cows are usually treated better on organic farms :).

  13. I have heard nothing about milk being bad for you. Maybe those are just morons saying that there is somthing bad in it.

    Now if you have lactose intollorance then maybe avoid regular milk. There is lactose free and soy milk if you are.

    Usually the 2% or 1% is better for you but I have heard some new information in the last year saying that whole milk is more beneficial for you for some odd reason that I cannot recall right now.
