Did your newborn ever have milk coming out his nose and mouth at the same time, if so what did their doctor say about it?

  1. It has happened but I never bothered with the doctor. Its just the same when adults are sick. If its quite forceful it just comes out of your nose as well. If it happens a few times in a row I'd get it checked out.

  2. yes my daughter had acid reflux,,,she would have milk EVERYWHERE.  we learned to deal with it,,and kept the bulb syringe handy to help "clean "her out after an episode.  we were able to control it with changing her routine and changing formula.

  3. You don't say when this is happening. If it's when he is "burping" I say yes, it's normal. Ever throw up? That's what happens to us too. Our throats & noses are connected. If it's when feeding, either the hole in the nipple needs to be smaller (getting milk to fast to swallow) or if nursing, the same thought applies - maybe you need to express a little before nursing (it's hard to make the hole smaller on your nipple).
