Minature Medals with Dinner Suit.?

Does anyone know the correct place to wear Minature Military Medals on a Civillian Dinner Jacket?

I will be attending a Regimental Dinner at the weekend, and as a retired soldier I am not sure where the exact place is on a Dinner Jacket they should be worn.

According to AR670-1, medals may be standard sized or miniature and should be worn in the same approximate location they would be when worn on a uniform.

Husband Ex Army says on the left hand side. If they were your Fathers its on the right hand side.
