Minimum stay for airlines??

Do you find this completely insane also? - that United is going to start forcing a minimum stay? As a business traveler, this seems as if it would complicate my life. What if every airline starts to do this (as will these silly baggage fees)? Fly one airline one way in the morning, fly a different one back at night? ;)

I completely agree, the airlines are getting out of hand.  As a business traveler, I think Southwest may be the best bet all around, if you live in areas where that airline flies.

It doesnt mean you HAVE to stay, it just means you are not going to get any of their low fares.

So flying roundtrip same day might now cost 1800$, instead of 300$.

This policy is designed to make a business traveler pay more than persons whose flying is more discretionary. Airline is less likely to lose the business traveler due to a higher price

No there no extra fee just only to apparently cover  high fuel cost

flying one way with one airline and back with another....thats the way it looks..

the guy above is right, they cant refuse you to travel  because you are not at a place for a set time...

you can either go one airline one way and back the other or even book 2 one way fares...they couldnt stop ya that way!
